1. Who we are

WorkRyde is a technology platform that connects verified coworkers for carpooling. We are not a transport operator and we do not employ drivers.

2. Your account

You must verify your work email. You must be the legal account holder. You are responsible for every action taken under your account.

3. Payments

Passengers pay via wallet top-ups funded through M-Pesa. Drivers receive 80 percent of every fare, paid into a driver wallet and released on payout request. We deduct the remaining 20 percent as platform commission.

4. Cancellations

Free cancellation up to fifteen minutes before the scheduled departure. Late cancellations receive a partial refund. Driver no-shows refund the full fare.

5. Driver responsibilities

• Carry valid insurance and a valid driving license.
• Drive soberly and respect road rules.
• Do not accept cash at the roadblock or anywhere else.

6. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, accept cash off-platform, or receive repeated low ratings.

7. Liability

WorkRyde facilitates the connection between driver and passenger. Liability for driving conduct and vehicle safety rests with the driver and any insurance that covers the vehicle.
