Delete your Workryde account.

Applies to the Workryde app by Parzo Limited.

Delete it from the app

Open the Workryde app, go to your account settings, and choose to delete your account. Deletion takes effect immediately and signs the app out on your device. This is the fastest route and it does not involve us.

If you cannot open the app

Email support@workryde.com from the work email address you signed up with, with the subject line “Account deletion request”. You do not need the app installed to make the request. We verify the request against your sign-in email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and profile (name, photo, phone number, work email).
Saved home and work locations.
Your sign-up selfie and your vehicle details, if you registered as a driver. We never held a copy of your licence, ID or vehicle documents, because we do not collect them.
In-app chat messages and notification history.
Emergency contacts and trip-share links.

What we keep, and for how long

Financial records: wallet transactions, fare payments, and payout records are retained for 7 years as required by Kenyan tax and anti-money-laundering law, then deleted.
Safety records: SOS events and dispute records connected to a ride are retained for 12 months from the ride date, then deleted.
Aggregated analytics: anonymised usage statistics that can no longer be linked to you.
